Recording Dvds

    If I Buy a DVD Recorder will I be able to Record Bought DVDs Onto it? Or would there be copy right issues? How about onto VHS Recorder?

    THe simple awnser is that all dvd recorders are designed to protect the copyright of recordings and will not let you do this. VHS will not be able to record either as macrovision should prevent it.

    There is copyright issues and there is copy protection built in. To prevent copying to VHS, there is macrovision. To prevent copying to a dvd recorder, there is CGMS.
