    Hello All,

I have just got a new recorder (GX700) and am a bit confused about the connections. I will use componant to go from DVD to TV, but not sure which is best for Sky+ to DVD. Would s-video be best or scart? If scart, where would that plug into on the DVD as the scart on it seem to imply that they are all outflows.

any help would be much appreciated.

    cheers
    Mike

Connect via Scart cable from the TV Output to L3 on the Sony. Ensure Sky+ is set for RGB Output (from memory: Services/Setup/Picture Settings/Video Output - RGB). Likewise goto System Menu/Setup/Video and ensure L3 is set to RGB and that component is ON (I believe you can have this on if you have L3 set to RGB on the GX700 - but am not 100% sure).
