    Hi there,

I'm not really sure if this is possible, but, I recorded part of a radio show on SKY+ and basically want to extract some of the show (not music - only about 5 mins or so) onto a CD or something.

I don't know how to get it off direct from SKY+, so I thought maybe I could copy the 5 mins I want onto my Panasonic E85, and then copy that onto DVD.

If I then ripped the DVD onto my PC, it would be in dvd format (ie, VOB files etc..) so I wouldn't be able to copy the 5 mins onto an audio CD.

Am I going about this the totally wrong way?

    Is there a better solution?

Your experrt help is very much appreciated.

    Thanks

I record audio from our Digibox to our PC quite often. You don’t need to go via your Panasonic 85. Buy a two phono plug to stereo mini jack cable such as this one:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mini-Jack-to-...0023750QQcategoryZ295QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

Connect the phono plugs to the audio left and right outputs on your Digibox, and the stereo mini jack to the line input of the sound card on your PC.

To record and edit the audio, use Audacity software. It’s free from:

    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

    Hope this helps.
