My current setup:

Denon 2802 DD/DTS/DPL, etc 6.1 amp
2 x Mision M72 front speakers
Mission M7C2 centre speaker
3 x Mission M7DS dipole surround speakers.

What would be a recommended subwoofer to complete all this, without breaking the bank? I'm using an old, cheap 'n' nasty B&W Powerbass which was fine for the long-gone DPL VHS days, but I want to change it because it's not giving me the best of my setup.

Thanks.

have a look at the Mission 78AS review from last night here

MJ Acoustics also have a competitively priced range of subs starting at £300 which have received good write ups in the mags and from forum members too

Look out for a second hand Velodyne CHT-10. This will give you great performance for little outlay and complement your current system very well. I started with a similar system speaker wise (except I had the M71) and it integrated with my set up easily. I'm very impressed with it and haven't looked to upgrading it as yet.

It'd be a good little buy if you can find one in the classifieds:)

i have a cht-10 for sale
might be a bit pricey for you but it is only six months old and in absolute mint condition.
am willing to bargain a little.
see my post in the classifieds
