Recommended soundbar which incorporates wired surround sound speakers

I am looking for some advice and recommendations, and would greatly appreciate it.

I am currently using an Onkyo TX-SR333 amplifier, which has been great over the years.
Unfortunately it can only passthrough up to HDMI 1.4, which forces an upgrade to my new LG CX55 and Xbox Series X.
Currently I can run the amp through the tv with an optical lead, but there are lipsync issues.
The other problem (probably the biggest) is the wired subwoofer, as it can no longer be close enough to the tv to run a wire to it.

I am looking at updating the amplifier to a more modern soundbar that can run 4k / hdr, perhaps with Dolby Atmos.
I already have wires at the rear of the room for surround sound, and I would like to have true surround to still use these speakers.

Is this possible, or do soundbars tend to stick to pseudo surround and do away with the rear speakers?
