Looking for an online dealer that will do all the multi region firware upgrade and re-activating PAL progressive for me, on a 2900.

I would normally do this myself, but after a fried a friends laptop with a bad BIOS flash I have been kind of nervous

    Thanks,

    nwpsys

Ouch! :suicide: ;) What was the end result with that if you don't mind me asking?

A bit off topic I know but a friend was asking for some help with the exact same thing just a couple of days ago... Maybe I should say no... ;)

Even though I tried to re-flash an older version back ( I was sensible enough to have a couple of versions ready ) the machine would not even start-up, so it was back to Dell with the "it stopped working" card being played. Luckily they replaced it.

Learned a lesson though. Even the simplest tasks can go wrong through no fault of ones own, with catastrophic consequences.

PS I have flashed several of my own devices without a problem. Sods Law dicitates it goes wrong on friends kit.
