    Can anyone help ?
I have a Marantz DV4200 dvd standalone player that I use in my AV set up.
I'd like to know if anyone can give advice on which blank DVD-R media, would be most compatible with this player for watching backup dvd movies ?
I have to used Datawrite Titanium's,Ritek Xtreme's,Verbatim DataLife+ & Mr Data, all DVD-R's,with varying amounts of success. The main problem is that sometimes these backup movies skip at irregular intervals, when played back in the Marantz, although are fine if watched using PC !
My recorder is a NEC nd3500AG & I use the latest firmware.
    Any advice appreciated !!!!! :lease:

    Problem sorted.......
Sold Marantz DV4200 & purchased Pioneer DV 575A.
Problem solved & In my opinion the Pioneer has better sound & picture quality than the Marantz & only cost me 95 notes, compared to the Marantz, which originally retailed for £400 !
This 575a plays just about anything you throw at it & does NOT freeze, stop, skip etc.
The unit itself, looks good & for a universal dvd player,I think is a steal !!!! :smashin:
