Any suggestions welcome, I'm going to need a fair amount of the stuff so nothing too expensive. I was thinking of QED Silver Anniversary as it seems to get good reviews ? The speakers will be KEF Eggs ...

    Many thanks
    Ian.

Try Twin and earth electrical before you go splashing out on QED. Terminate with good quality banana plugs or spades and save a few pounds. By far the easier solution. Or if you want something considerably better try Cat5 Network cable. A bit more time consuming but often with better results. There 's a lot of advice about the making of the above on this forum.

I'd agree wholeheartedly with what Knightshade says, I don't think I've seen a comment from any one who has tried the twin and earth/Cat5 route which suggests they'd go back to buying things like silver anniversary. These homebrew solutions offer so much better value that it seems pointless.
