As the title says, I don't want to spend loads on cabling and have read various bits on here saying that there is little point in spending loads anyhow.
I am looking to spend up to £20 per cable, what do people recommend at this price point for scart, digital coax and s-video?

    Cheers

Thor scart at £17 from TV Cables - Digital Co-ax at £20 from Mark Grant in the Cable Powerbuy forum and with a £20 budget for s-video cable I would spend an extra £7 and get it from Mark Grant as that you way you will be acquiring something that never needs to be upgraded whatever you may buy in the future

Thanks for the replies guys. I had never heard of Mark grant cables until I looked on here. I presume they are well thought of?

Just to second Mark Grant cables, especially Digital Coax. Can't tell the difference between one of Marks @ £20 and Chord Prodac @ £80. Good quick service too.

Well I'll definately be after some cables from Mark in the near future then. Also, forgot to mention, can anyone recommend a good, but cheapish speaker cable? I will be running a Denon AVR-1705 with Aegis Centre, EVO 3's and EVO 1's.
    Cheers.

Cat5 or mains flex would be good starters. Run a search in this forum on 'Cat5' or 'twin & earth'.
A good way to save a small fortune.

    Ok cheers.
Ihave heard the argument of mains cable against fancy cable before. All I will say is one of my mates has an Arcam setup, with a pair of Castle Howards, he was running some cable that was recommeded to him from dealer, but asaed me to get him some 4mm SY cable from work to try. There was a definate difference in sound, his cable was more detailed, but the 4mm SY gave more bass, and more oomph, but lacked the detial of the othe rcable. Was difficult to pick a cable of preference really.
