    :lease:

    System:
    Receiver: Sony STR-DB830
    Screen: Panasonic PLasma:ST 42- PW4
    Sub: Paradigm PS1000 (130W)
    Fronts: KEF Q35.2 floorstanders
    Rears: KEF Q:compact
    Centre KEF Q 80C

Am thinking of replacing my sub for a new one. Considering KEF PSW2500 to fit in with my current system. It is a fairly large room - 4.5m x 7m. Only reason I am replacing the Paradigm is it is too large and ugly for the front room (according to the missus) - hence the KEF in a nice appple finish to match the rest of my speaker set-up. Also considering the REL Quake but am concerned it may be to small for the room - or should I go up to the PSW3500? please advise.

The kef psw 2500 could be ideal, im not sure with your amp but you could try the Kef 2500, and you want more base then have one at the front of the room and one at the back which may cost around an extra £100 as to Kef 3500 though you will end up with 500wtts as to 300wtts.... see what the missus says..(just ideas)...Macky.

You could check out the new Paradigm seismic series which take up about a foot at all sides.

I dont think you will find any improvement with the 2500 over the pw1000, apart from looking better, infact IMO i think you will find it not as good as the 1000.
I would say give the 3500 a home demo.
It will look better and is possible a step up from the ps1000.

    I love my PSW3000

I'm fairly new to the scene, so not sure how it compares to others ?
