    Hello

Lookign fro recommendations for a smallish 17" or thereabouts 16x9 LCD set for the bedroom. Integral tuner would be desirable but not essential. I was interested in the Humax 17" LCD with integrated didgital tuner thats dues out in the next couple of weeks but price seems to be around £700 which is a tad over the odds if you ask me.

Whats generally considered to be the best 16x9 small screen out there?

PHILIPS 17PF9945 is excellent for bedrooms
I got one a couple months ago. There are the usual LCD problems of 'real blacks' but otherwise its a very good set
No dead pixels, the sound is not bad, 2 scarts inputs
Overall a very good TV - currently around the £600 mark but worth it compared to the other LCDs that are around £400-£500 range that do not have the level of picture processing that is on this set
