Recommendations for a budget projector please

I may be wrong but it's not even in hd resolution? Is it for home cinema if so you'll want a full hd projector I'm sure.

The experts on here will probably ask the following:

- projecting onto a wall or screen?
- dark or light room?
- what your using it for? Bluray etc?
- throw distance an issue?

For what it's worth id look on the classifieds here or save a bit more up. You can get cracking budget optoma projectors for £400 ish Amazon had the HD141x for £370 recently.

I had a budget optoma HD230x which was full HD and loved it. Just upgraded it to a newer optoma in fact

Thanks for the reply - it's going to be used with a golf simulator maybe once/twice a week. It will be in a dark(ish) room and will be projected onto a white hitting screen (which you hit the golf ball into)...

As I'm not going to be using it all that frequently I am just looking for something cheap... does anyone have any recommendations for projectors under £100? The one I have sent a link to on Amazon is their best selling but I can't find any reviews for it anywhere! (except for on Amazon)
