recommendations for a 5.1 pc system for the £70 mark

    can anyone recommend a 5.1 system for a PC? i have been given the boring task of finding one for a freinds birthday and am a little stumped, i want the best i can get for the budget of £75, any ideas?

    thats the problem , main use will be for music, he is no audiophille by any stretch of the imagination, but wanst good bass! would you not recommend them for music at all?

    I'm just going by reviews I've read on the 'net. See the one below for an explanation of why it's not so good for music:

    As for other 5.1 solutions around that price that are good for music - I can't really think of any but someone else may be able to help...sorry :(

    valhoudini, cheers for the link, that pretty much sums them up as a no no, its a shame because i have always been impressed by most of their previous speakers,
    anyone else?
