Thats all i need and want. No Digital systems that end up creating more problems than they fix (artefacting), all i want is a bog stand tv that has a perfect geometry and NO, i repeat NO VERTICAL BANDS!. Fed up with returning tvs and i have tried some expensive tvs let me tell you (a couple at nearly £2000) both of which i returned quick sharp. Any help appreciated.

hey, not sure if you meanwidescreen tv or not but heres a couple of suggestions for widescreen and standard screen:

    Standard: Toshiba 28N33B (187 quid)
(currys website) Ferguson FTV280N (199 quid)

    Widescreen: Goodmans K28W05 (160 quid)
    (Comet website)

ive heard good things about the Goodmans tv.

A review of it can be found here: www.homecinemachoice.com

just go to the reviews section.

YEs the Goodmans Non-Flat 28 inch tv looked tempting but looking around it seems to have 2 rgb sockets but non true RGB. A bit worrying to say the least.
In all honestly i don't trust the reviews on this site, i trust REAL peoples opinions after they have forked out alot of money on their choice. This site has raved about 2 tvs that i purchased and later returned.

P.S. Do you own any of the above tvs?
