recommendation for a new plasma(budget 600 approx)

    hi guys,first post from me,currently have an old(6 yrs)
    crt 28" panasonic,looking to upgrade to something a bit
    more stylish,what would you fellas go for if you had a
    budget of around 600 pounds,just to add that it must
    be accomplished with sport especially football,having a
    quick read of this forum it appears that the panasonic
    px80 is a good tv?
    ps:eek:n a seperate note what av stands do you fellas use
    to display your pride and joys on?piccies would be great:)

    Can't speak for regarding other tv's but i have the px80 and its a great tv .:thumbsup:
    Get one asap would be my advice :)

    PX80, no question, the best set available for an affordable price.

    ...unless you wanted something to look at instead, the newer LGs are pretty decent and look nice, depends on useage though of course, any info on that? the Panny is probably the one to go for though

    yep i would go for the px80,as its a plasma it will also be better for your football ,plasmas handle fast moving objects better!

    How about samsung ps42a457 for under £600, cheaper but not as good as Panasonic, depends how much you want to spend ?
