    Hi

At the moment I have a Boston Accoustics BA7500 4.1 setup hooked up to my Hercules Game Theatre XP.

Could someone reccommend me a decent speaker setup? Will I need a new soundcard or is the Game Theatre still good?

The new setup must be 5.1 and can work thru most types of connection (the GT is well equipped). I was looking at spending around £300, but I can go higher if something really really good is available.

It must be good for PC gaming, TV, music, and film watching.

What does everyone recommend? Should I get a new soundcard at the same time?

    Thanks!

These got a really good review in a recent What Hi-fi S & V issue.

Thinking of getting them to use solely with my DVD player until funds allow for more lavish purchases! ;)

    Videologic ZXR-750

    They also do a 5.1 version - ZXR-550.

Both are very reasonably priced as well. Can get the 550 for around £50 and the 750 for £70ish! Can't be bad.

    Cheers,

    Mark.

Thanks for the advice so far everyone!!

Are Canton CD1 worth looking at? How do they compare to the others?

    Thanks!
