A few questions- whats the rest of your pc like, how much do you want to spend?

I guess you've heard of directx10 and 8 series nvidia cards so i would have said wait a little while and get a newer version of an 8 series card when they are a bit more universal, or get an 8800 340mb gts (go for the model above- the gtx, if you can afford it, very expensive though) if you need one now. Obviously dependant on your pc specs and power supply unit as this thing needs a lot of power but at best thats what you want, i wouldnt recommend a 7 series nvidia or ati card that are directx9 as they are going to be phased out over time and its just pointless upgrading to one now. Especially with games around the corner that will be directx10.

Abu, read his post again!! He is looking for an AGP card.

    Akane,

Don't know how much you have to spend, but,

Between £80 and £130 get the 7600GT, either the 512MB version or the 256MB whichever you can afford.

Over £130 get the ATI 1950pro.

    Good luck

You got motherboard make/model that helps as they usually have a list of compatable cards.
