    Hi

We supply a number of CRT with stands for hire and we are now replacing the TV's with LCD but I am struggling to find a suitable LCD stand that is durable enough and high enough. I am looking for a metal stand which the base of the LCD will be about 1.2 metres off the ground. We had 100's of 4ft wooden tressel stands maid up for the TV's which we just covered with black cloth, but the LCD is much too easy to knock over on the stand also it would be nice to have a chrome stand to match the silver of the LCD. Any suggestions?

any plasmas we use on shows go on uni-col stands
    http://www.unicol.co.uk/

they do some pretty heavy weight stands, stands on wheels, dual screen stands.. tons of stuff. Either way we have some older models here and when we hire in extra stuff they almost always use unicol stands too

Thanks for your reply but unicol don't seem to cater for the medium LCD stand market. They have either a Tevella stand @ about £175 which is 1m high and does screens up to 23" or Plasma trolleys and stands @ £400 for larger screens. We are looking for a stand for 26" screens and the plasma stands are overkill for this and also probably too expensive to hire out.

the lcd stand takes screens up to 30 inch if they use the vesa mount. Thought that would have been ideal

It does but it is only 1m high so by the time you have a 26" lcd on it the bottom of the screen is just under 3ft off the ground and in a room off people sitted round tables it is impossible to see over the person nearest the screen. B-tech do a stand but it is very difficult to find a supplier.
