I'm looking to video a wedding for a friend, needs to work in church which obviouslly may have lowish light and at the evening reception which will be darkish.

Any ideas on a good mini dv? I have a sony tr810 hi8 which works fine but i want to start editing on my pc aswell.

ideally looking at £400 - £600 bracket I guess or cheaper.

    Thanks

If you plan on filming in very low light the only realistic option is to fit a light. PAG do an excellent clipon light with a 2 hour+ battery which is about £150. You could always buy it and then flog it on ebay if you never need it again. They are very handy though for any indoor work. I couldn't get onto the PAG website but here's a link to the optex ad for it - http://www.optexint.com/sales/lighting/pagc6.html - it's probably cheapest direct from PAG
