    Hi all,

I have a number of HTPCs at home used for Freeview, video streaming from my home server (most are H263 MKV, with some in AVI/MP3 of MPEG2/DivX/XviD), and MP3 streaming.

It's been working okay-ish for a number of years but the frustration keeps growing, having to deal with all the windows updates, backups, virus checkers, broken hardware, broken software, general PC unreliability etc, especially for multiple of them.

So I'm thinking of getting some maintenance-free-ish standalone Freeview+streamers. I can live with Freeview SD, but Freeview HD will be much better. I don't really need PVR as there's always iPlayer, Catchup, etc, but it would be nice of course. The most important thing is they need to be reliable because I don't want to babysit them like with the HTPCs.

    So, any suggestions please?

    Thanks.
