Recommend a SMS App for Touch

Hi,

Could I ask if you guys could recommend an app for the Ipod touch 4thGen that deals with SMS messaging.

I would like to create a phone number and have the ability to send and receive SMS messages with this app from people SMSing the phone number, and any SMS's I send look identical to those sent via normal phones.

Free would be nice, but cheap would be the next best thing.

Is Skype the only way to go or is there something better/cheaper?
