Recommend a scart cable

    Hi just bought a Denon SCH500 from Peter Tyson (as recommended off here)
    I am looking at getting a short length scart to scart cable,i have a Philips 32PW6006.
    Can anyone help at all?

    how short 0.5m? 0.75m? 1m? 1.5m? QED, IXOS and Supra are brands i would look at as long as you dont mind paying £50+

    Well my Denon is under the TV,so 0.5m would do i suppose....is there much of a difference between say a £20 cable & a £50+ cable?

    Depends how good your eyes are :)

    Seriously tho, i managed to pick up a few OEM ribbon scarts off a friend in the trade for little more than £10 each - they look suspiciously like unbranded IXOS - and the picture quality is fantastic. Makes me wonder what savings can be made in buying rebranded or OEM cables - let's face it, some of these companies are taking the p*ss charging what they do for cables.

    i have a 10m length of the generic flat cable from www.tvcables.co.uk, carrying sky from another room and the PQ is really really good. Ive seen slightly better, but its marginal and in such a short length i would guess the difference is less. there is no noise/interference whatsoever.

    for the price you might as well give it a try and if not happy with the difference get a better one!
