I'm thinking of upgrading my Intel X25-m 160GB bought almost 3 years ago. It seems that the new Intel 300 series are slower these days.

So, I'm looking at the Crucial & OCZ Vertex 6GB/s SSDs.

    How reliable are they?

Few years ago Vertex used to be unreliable but don't know about the latest models

Running a 128GB Crucial M4 on my Mac Mini and it's been great, no problems yet, touch wood.

For reliabilty I'd look at either the Crucial M4's, Intel's selection or as LJx has mentioned the Samsung 830 if you don't mind spending top $ on the best SSD right now.

Far you soon to comment on the reliability of the 830's, although if they're like their past generation then they should be great. Speeds are good, reviews have been very positive.
