A mate is looking for a CD player that has a built in amp with ipod compatability with ideally a USB port or ports.

Is their anything out their with good reviews ?

That looks good, i`d say his budget is ideally sub £500 but he`s flexible and open to suggestions he`s said.

He`s ok for sex shops, he`s told me in the past that one he visits on a regular basis brings music to his ears, its just it doesn`t have any ipod facility.

I bought an Onkyo for the kitchen... it has all that you mentioned and is pretty ok. I added a Teufel subwoofer though. I like that the hifi remote controls the ipod when the ipod is docked, and also that it charges the ipod without the special (scosch? no that's not right) adapter for 3rd and 4th gen ipods. The ipod dock is good quality, and you can use any analogue interconnects you want so I have some QED Qunex 2s on it.

It plays MP3 via CD or USB. And it actually works !

Denon M38 micro. Has digital Ipod connection via the front usb port. Partner this with Q Acoustic 2010's that will cost a total of about £350 ish.
