Hi there. This is my first post he so i'd first like to say hi.

I am currently looking for a 32" plasma TV which i will require to be wall mounted in my bedroom.

I am looking to spend a max of £2.5k What seems to be the best Set st the moment rearding picture quality.

Also i would like it to have digital inputs (DVI etc) as i would like to be able to hook my pc up to it if i want to.

    What do u people recommend?

    Thanks

lower power consumption, less risk of burn, more pixels.
Also 37" plasma's 37Pe30 panny good for bedroom integrated analogue and digital tuner, or buy a 42" PW6 and enjoy it! with speaker and a couple of boards it will fill your budget, also much more choice in 42"

At 37" the field increases. What Horny means is that he does not admire the 32" devices from these manufacturers, and thinks the LCDs are better. I wouldn't argue. At 37" the Panasonic Viera plasma is a respectable unit, and in another few months there will be a 7 series 37" monitor, no tuner, speakers etc, which lots of people prefer.

So at around the 30"-32" lcd's are recommended over plasma sets? I would like to keep it around 30"-32" as my room is not very big.

What are the recommend LCD sets in this size?

Thanks for your help, its greatly appreciated

The following have caught my eye, but not necessarily remained there...The final 3 I have not viewed in person. All are LCD except the Hitachi.

    In no particular order:

    Philips 32PF9986
Hitachi 32PF5200 (not the 5300 which does not have usable DVI) - Plasma
Panasonic Viera 32" - No DVI
Philips 32PF9956 - a bit elusive this one. Not P+2 but other goodies, like HDMI instead
    Sharp LC-32GD1E
Loewe Xelos SL 32 - a bit more £££ than you specified

Got a brief peak at the Philips and Sharp on that list - both significantly better than the generation before them IMO and finally an LCD that can take a decent challenge to plasma.

Would still rather a 42" Panasonic plasma though!!!!
