my girl and I just watched "Basic" and really loved it. What a wonderfull clever movie.

So i just want other peoples recomendation of films along the same line,
Ones that keep you guessing and have really good plot twists.

Dosn't have to have a armed forces theme.

oh, I've already seen The Generals daughter and C/under fire.

Can't believe you havn't seen it  :D

I know it's not on the armed forces theme and you may be a bit unsure but I really urge you to check it out... the film's pretty much reached a cult status now that is completely deserved IMO

How about Identity with John Cusack, that kept us guessing all the way through.

If you like decent thrillers then watch the following

    Frailty (directed by Bill Paxton)
    The Butterfly Effect (directors Cut)

    Donnie Darko
    Any season of 24
    Fargo
    Jacob's Ladder
    Intacto
    Mulholland Drive
    Mothman Prophecies
    The Others
    Pi

all are in the same vein and will keep you guessing. Some are executed better but I have found all of the above to be entertaining and definately worth a look.

LA Confidential and Usual Suspects are two of my fav movies and you NEED to watch them. I would also add U Turn and two Denzel Washington's: Bone Collector; Training Day. If you aren't against some Sci-fi action, then there are a couple: The Thing is an absoloute classic with one of the most intense scenes ever, plus there is another Denzel Washington movie, Fallen. Total Recal is okay, too.
Do you mind older movies? then look at The French Connection and Dont Look Now, both of which have superb endings you will be thinking about for a while.
