    Hi,

Could someone help me choose a new AVR for Monitor audio radius hd (r90hd10).
My marantz sr5008 died so I would like to switch to another brand.

Could someone recommend an AVR with good reliability, which would be suitable for MA r90hd10.

I saw some old threads about yamaha AVRs which should work well with my speakers, however, non of these are available now, since these are old models.

Options are: rx a750, rxv779, rxa 1050 or maybe even rxa2050.

I would like the AVR to be equal to or better than the marantz in terms of performance, features and sound quality, but hopefully more reliable.

Is there a point of getting a high power amp such as rxa2050 for my speakers.

Also, the dealer offered a discount for an AVR+ two front speakers. Can I mix-match my current monitor hd with for example new radius r270 or MA silver 6? If I go for the 7.1 or 5.1 +2.0 , which AVR woud you suggest?

Is there some other brand other than yamaha which can be considered reliable?

    I wouldn't mix-match your LCR.

What budget do you have in mind for an AVR? Other than great sound is there anything else it needs to have?

I was hoping to get the same or better features that the marantz had:
    -auto calibration
-different cut off frequency for each speaker
-DLNA, airplay etc. with High res file support
    - internet radio
    -4k and 3D compatibility
    -HDMI arc
    - WIFi remote app (windows/android)
-If I were to expand to 7.1, front height processing would be nice, if this is possible.

As for the budget, i wouldnt go higher than RXA 2050, but would be happy to pay less.

If mixing LCR is a huge issue, I could live with the new radius center, but what could I do with the old one, then?

Are you from the UK? Otherwise saying no higher than RXA 2050 will mean different prices.
