I have now had enough of my current set up .

i have a 1000 gb drive currently installed and since it was installed i have had no end of problems with my box.

now i don't know whether the drive is faulty or the box (although the box is not working properly with the original formatted drive back in).

anyway sky are coming to replace the box and i will take the drive back for a replacement.

i may simply get a 500 gb drive an just put it straight in the box with bothering to use copy+ etc.

can anyone recommend a drive for me preferable one they sell at PC world as thats where i got the hitatchi one from in the first place (paid with vouchers i had so any refund would have to be used there).

they have these 2 at PC world

One of those drives wont work. One has an IDE interface and the other SATA.

I believe you need a SATA drive for the Sky HD box.

Sorry not much help i dont have Sky.
