I am getting Sky put in next week. I would like Sky TV in another room but Sky are trying to charge me an extra £11.25 on top of my £56 a month bill which is a disgrace. Is there a way of getting Sky in the other room without being charged this unfair price? I have an old Sky+ box from a few years back if that's any use and i also have a cable running off my satellite dish into the room from when i previously had Sky a while back.

Why is it a disgrace? Better than charging you another full sub. Your old Sky+ box will work for the free to air channels without a card but will not record. Moving the card from the other room will get you the basic channels, no sports movies or porn.

Plug in the old machine and watch the free channels.
