Like many I have just gone DVD recorder.
Like many I still have lots of of VHS tapes.
Like many I have a long in the tooth VCR.
Although it was good at the time (a panny that cost me 400 simoleans - a ridiculous sounding price now) I really should replace it.
It seems no one reviews VCRs anymore - no recent reviews in the links from this forum. The mags/comics don't seem to cover them - despite the fact that people still buy VCRs.

Any pointers as what model I should get as my last ever VCR ?
    TIA.

The precious family ones I will make several DVD/backup copies of.
But far too many tapes to consider converting them all.

Both I and other family members have found the Tosh VCR's to pretty good, and cheaper than Sony.
Check my signature for the one I use, its still a current model IIRC.
