People,
At the weekend I purchased a Denon AV1910 amp and Boston Soundware 5.1 Speakers. I am going to use this combination with a Sony KDL40V3000 TV and PS3.
As part of the purchase I purchased a 1m IXOS HDMI cable which was £30.
A colleague at work remarked that paying such an amount for a HDMI cable was an overspend and I should be looking at spending about £5 plus shipping on Amazon or eBay.
It would be appreciated if people could provide comments as to whether they believe that a cheaper HDMI cable will result in a performance that is noticeably lower than the £30 one for the combination and quality of components that I have. Please bear in mind that this is my first dive into AV and my untrained ears may not notice the subtle differences that trained ears would.
Many thanks
