Recent experience cast doubt in my mind re EVs

    @gangzoom no worries. As IG said though I and most Australians are looking for 800-1000 km range and at that point Home charging will be overwhelmed. It will be in the UK too as I said IMO

    OK Thanks I didnt think they supported ECO& on 3 Phase, Or is it the standing charge is higher.. Not sure but thought there was some downside.

    I could utilise 22kw 3 phase or even 43kw 3 phase to charge the car in an hour or so, but being honest and like @gangzoom said, the need really just does not come up for such fast recharge at home. Like my phone it plugs in at night and its ready in the morning. and that doing an average of 40k miles a year in my EV
