I am getting the Onkyo hts760 and im gathing everything im gonna need. It has 2 composite video inputs but im needing to plug in 5 things. This isnt a problem though because it also has 3 s-video inputs but my question is; if i plug in an s-video signal will it send that out its Composite video output? or will i have to have a svideo and Composite out to my tv?

You need to check the details of the equipment you are looking at, some do convert, some don't. Try Onkyo's website.

My guess would be 'not'. It is rare (but not completely unheard of - eg Denon 3803) for AV amps to do anything except switch video signals. But do check to see if this is a stated feature for yours.
