Receiver recommenation

Finally upgrading the TV to a 4k set which means I also need to upgrade from my beloved Onkya as it only supports HD. I was planning on the Denon AVR-X2700H but it's out of stock and when I spoke Richer Sounds they suggested the Yamaha RX-A2A if I wanted something in stock. The problem is I went off to do some reading on the Yamaha and discovered the current issues most new amps are having with a dodgy chipset. At the 4k level I'll be connecting a Shield, PS5 and PC so after 120/4k.
I'm wondering what peoples thoughts and suggestions are.

Thanks

Denon AVR-X2700H

Right now I'd wait 2-3 months. Onkyo have announced new models, but not launched, Pioneer due to launch. Yamaha looking to retrofit updated HDMI boards into existing (defective) receivers and the Denon you looked at only has a single 8K (4k / 120Hz) input. Likely Denon, Marantz and Yamaha will launch either new or refreshed receivers with less HDMI gremlins.

Might be a while before 4K / 120Hz is common on multiple ports.

I've just switched TV, but holding off on a receiver until this years refresh.
