    Hi
I am looking for a new receiver to pair up with my B&W MT30 (M1s and PV1 sub). Previously had a Pioneer VSX -AX5i.
I was originally considering an Onkyo NR515. Would this be meaty enough? Also considered a Pioneer LX55. Any suitable recommendations/advice would be most gratefully received.

    Thanks

I'd probably suggest one of the warmer sounding amps for use with the B&W speakers, an amp from the likes of Denon, Marantz or Yamaha should be fine. I'd also stress that these speakers are limited in their ability to handle lower frequencies due to their size and are aimed at the lifestyle as opposed to audiophile end of the market, meaning that they will always be compromised regardless of the amp powering them. I'd budget £600 - 800 for the amp and this would secure you:

    Yamaha RXA810
    Denon AVR2313
    Marantz SR6006

Would anyone else like to share any other recommendations?

I would second Dantes suggestions. My brother in law has the M1s and they sound good with his Denon receiver.
