Hi,

I need to get a pair of rear speakers, i was using a pair of castle floor standers as rears but one of the woofers have gone and i have chosen not to repair it between the hassle as they are not made anymore and also i would prefer to not have floor standers as rears.

My sitting room is about 4.2m x 4.5, my couch is about 1m away from the back wall.

My front speakers are tannoy r2s
Power handling 90 watts continuous (RMS)
Sensitivity: 88 dB
Impedance: 6 ohms
Frequency response: 44 - 20000 kHz
Drivers:HF: 25mm soft domed, LF: 2 x 130mm long throw paper cone

My centre speaker is a Monitor audio cc700
Two 5 1/2" Metal Woofers
One 1" Gold Dome Tweeter
Rated FR: 45Hz - 30kHz + 3dB
Sensitivity: 89 dB, 6 Ohms Nominal

And i have a polk sub, dont have any info on it but its a budget sub.. My amp is a denon avc-a1d

Anyway i want to try and get rear speakers that will work well with what i already have, i think i want dipole speakers, i never or very rarely listen to music on more than 2 speakers and id like rears that diffuse the sound.

Two pairs of speakers i have found are Monitor audio RXFX

I hadn't heard of Atlantic technology before but apparently they are a good company just not known in Europe so much. Anyway, im just wondering if on paper one of these would match my system better or if anyone knows if one would be better than the other in any way or again if someone could recommend some other speakers for rears. Mission dipole speakers are on ebay quite regularly im not sure if those would be as good or better than the monitor audio speakers..

Any opinions would be great.

Rowan
