I have a full set of wharfedale 8's (8.3 front and 8.2 rear) and need to put my 8.2's onto speaker stands for the rears.

Does it matter how high the stands are?
What about the Parkington Super Dreadnoughts?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

They should be at about head height, or slightly higher.

Have a look at the pics on www.mordauntshort.com they show speaker placement for 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1
