I'm looking to finish upgrading my home cinema setup, what is needed to complete my setup is the rear surround speakers. Looking for small discreet rears as I’m thinking of 7.1 setup.

    I currently have:-

Denon 3803 Amp(doing amplification and video switch duties)

JM LABS Chorus 726S Front speakers
    JM LABS Chorus CC700S Centre
    MJ Acoustics Ref 100 sub

Rears speaker at the moment are Mission 750LE’s on stands.

What I’m interested in is whether a 7.1 setup would be a good idea, thinking of :-

Two pairs of M&K K5’s or a pair ok K4’s and a pair ok K5 or two pairs of K4’s.

    Or any other recommendations,

Are there any issues with running tri and dipole speakers or should I just buy one set of K4’s.
I've demo'ed a very similar setup to mine with K4's when a purchased the fronts. I will see if I can demo it again just worried as the K4/5 speaker are so little and will they cope with the front setup I have.

Yes get some Energy CR3 rears  you can then join me on my quest to actually buy a pair  I hate being the only one.

Oh yeah, they are tripoles and dipoles in one as you can alter the volumes of the individual drivers, quite discreet and there are several reviews to make your mouth water....................but try and buy

I have K4 as rears and they certainly cope with my setup at reference levels, little or not.

Just the one pair at the sides. My settee is right against the rear wall and 7.1 wouldn't really work for me
