Hi, can someone please help. I'm new to this business so not much of a clue. I have bought a 42" samsung rear projection T.V (not dlp) that is capable of HD 1080i and also progressive scan. Whilst I'm happy enough when playing DVDs, the picture from sky digi box is not that great.

Any suggestions would be welcome on how to improve this.

I have thought about video scaler but t.v only has component in and scart etc so is this possibe and if so worth while? Or can I upgrade the sky digi box?

As I say I'll consider any suggestion.

    Cheers

Trouble is, if you're happy with the quality from DVD but not from Sky, chances are it's because of the low bitrates used by Sky, which means poor picture quality. Any large screen display will show this up unfortunately
