Rear projection alignment?

I think I'm right in assuming I have a CRT rear projection tv? I received a hand-me-down tv which is quite a few years old (I would guess 7-10). I really appreciate the gift but I seem to have an issue with alignment of the "color tubes"....excuse my ignorance. My question is, is there anything I can do myself to get the convergance back in order. I've gone through all the screen menus but don't see any options. The model is a Mitsubishi VS-50VA2 if that helps at all. I really appreciate any help that can be given. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm sure it's possible to adjust the convergence, but you almost certainly need to find your way into the special service menus of the TV. How you do it on your particular TV, I have no idea, sorry. (On my Sony direct view, it was a 'secret' combination of keys on the remote that activated it).

Hopefully someone else will have more specific knowledge.

I did a quick Google; here's some info you may find useful:
