Hi
I’m thinking about adding some rear effect speakers
So it will become 7.1
I’m looking at Monitor Audio 45 or 90
I have 90s for my rear left/right but would like too add some rear effects.
Would the 45 be ok just for that I’m not sure how loud or low they need to go but they are neat and compact.
I’m using a Denon avr 2400 and small area mainly for PS4 and films.

Kind Regards Ian

Forget the 45s! They are quite poor, everyone who has heard them have said the same. Just too small. Matching Radius 90 is your best bet!!

Of course for it to work your couch shouldn`t be against wall, so make sure you got the space for 7.1 to work. Surround (sides) shouldn`t be too close to you either. If you can`t have them enough far away from you, then think about 5.1.2 which should be better than 7.1 anyway. Upfiring on top of your front speakers, front/side wall up high (just under ceiling) mounted aimed to MLP, in/on-ceiling speakers.. So there is choices for that.
