I'm thinking of buying a Denon 2802 or 3802, but don't really have space for a rear centre speaker (window in the way). Does this really make much of a difference? I've heard about ceiling mounting, but don't know whether it's worth the hassle?

    Mark.

    Mark....
Does make a difference with some DVDs but not all of them, not many ES/EX titles about, would i take the surround backs away and just have D/D....no i wouldn't. If you have no room then it's not really a point worth considering, don't know if surround backs would sound right in the ceiling, i wouldn't have thought so.
I would go for the 3802, as you have the connections there if you want them at a later date.
Anyway D/D will blow you away whether you have surround backs or not.......cheers bob
