    Hi

I am just about to acquire a Sony STR-DB 1080 to replace my older Technics SA-DX930 A/V Receiver

My speaker system at the moment comprises my beloved Spendor BC1's (floor standing on stands) as the two fronts, a pair of small but very decent Mordant Short rears suspended from the ceiling on brackets), a Yamaha Centre and a Yamaha YST-SW100 sub woofer. I need to purchase a rear centre and wonder what to do/buy. Any ideas?

    Cheers

    Paul

I'd approach Spendor for advice. Sell all but the Spendor fronts, and replace with the Spendor family speakers all round. It'll be worth it in the long run. I think, as you obviously like your main pair, that anything else will be a false economy.
