I've had my Pioneer VSX-49TX for several months now, without using the EX channel at all. I'm considering investing in a pair of speakers for this channel, and was wondering if people think it's worth it.

I've got B&W speakers all around, and if I stick with them for the center rears, I'll get the DM600's, which are around 350/pair.

I'm pretty sure the effect is nice for EX or ES encoded disks, but since there aren't too many of these, I wonder if it would be still worth it for other sources, in which case the rear center channel would be extrapolated from the 5.1 signals.

    Thanks for any feedback,
