Hi, first post so be kind!

I've got a Yamaha RX-V359, and have Sky+, Xbox 360 and PS3 running through it. Unfortunately the amp only has two optical outputs so I've got to continually switch the optical from the back of the 360 to the back of the PS3, since the Sky takes up the other output.

Now, can I get an optical-digital coax adapter to use the coax output that is currently unused? My idea would be to run the Sky+ through it to free up the two opticals for the consoles. Will this work? Don't want to go and get a load of stuff if it turns out to be useless!

Easiest thing would be to just get a new amp but this one is only a couple of years old so don't think that would go down well in this household...

    Thanks!

You need the correct one of these ,

    Maplin > optical to coax

They are directional so make sure you get the one you need.

They can be had even cheaper on ebay , I believe someone found the exact same units last week for £4.99
