    Hi All

    I have a new UST projector - Dell S718ql.
This one is really ultra short throw. it projects from 15cm from a screen. As a result you can see all imperfections of the screen and I mean ALL of them. Something you wouldn't notice with a regular projector in here is very visible. It's due to a fact that the projector angle is very wide.

To resolve that I need a really flat screen. Best would be fixed frame but can't have it, has to be retractable.
I assume it should be tab tension. So here is my question:

    Looking for a screen:
    - has to be very flat
    - diagonal 100 - 110 inches
    - retractable
    - don't care about motorised (but it would be nice) or if it is CLR (using only at night)
    - budget 1k ...but something tells me I will have to go around 2k
    - did I mention it should be flat ;)

I have my eyes on some Elite screen and recent new Optoma tab tension screen but ES get sometimes mixed reviews and Optoma is to new. Do I have to go with Da-lite or do you guys have any other recommendations?

    Thanks!

Absolutely. No way you will get anywhere near flat with a non tensioned screen.
