I am at that point where I feel ready to purchace a new projector.

My shortlist is:

Epson TW100
Sony VW-HT11

Now the Epson is looking fav mainly due to price and physical size.

All the reviews about the TW100 seem very favorable BUT one thing is worrying me and it's this that may push my decission to the Sony.

Messiah mentions in a thread about faint lines. I have also seen this mentioned in the AVS forum. I believe that there are a number of TW100 users out there now and was hoping for some feedback from them.

Are the lines actually visible or more like the lines you get in a Sony Flat PC monitor.

If there are can they be tweeked out.

I have seen the TW100 for £3180 inc VAT at http://www.ivojo.co.uk/epson-emp-tw100.htm. Has anyone had any dealing with the company?

Thanks in advance.

I have also read about the lines and I therefor looking for them all the time at my TW100. Sometimes I think I really can detect some faint vertical lines but it can't be that bad since I am not really sure I got them or not, and that is after 50h of watching.

Ps. I did the comparison VW-HT11 with an iScan Pro vs. TW100 and I finally bought the TW100. I am not saying that is is way better but I really love the DCDi-thing and the compact size! :)
