    Another year, another festival thread. I'm off to the Reading Festival on Thursday and have lots of books piled up ready to take.

    Anyone else going or had fun at V? Damn those who got to see The Pixies.

    Although I've now seen almost every band that I want to, essential watching for me will be (amongst others):

    * The Wildhearts
    * Dropkick Murphys
    * New York Dolls
    * Bouncing Souls

    :eek: Really? I won't feel so bad about it then and will just assume that they're as good as they on the BBC session recordings :)

    Bouncing Souls were great, as were New York Dolls, Wildhearts and Green Day were the biggest surprise for me as I've seen them 4 times before but they were absolutely awesome!

    Just the beer for me, although I drank nearly £150 over the weekend :eek:

    I think Kasabian might have played at the Carling Weekend but I'm not sure.

    The Pixies were indeed fantastic at V2004.

    Almost on a par with the Brixton shows if that's any consolation to those who couldn't make them.
