I have had my PLV-Z2 for 5 Months now, with around 150 hours of use.....

i have noticed over the last week that the brightness has been greatly reduced......

you can still see the picture and in places it looks ok but it has lost the initial glow it used to have.

i have set it up using the avia dvd, this was done as soon as i got it....

i have cleaned the lens but it still looks very dull.....

    any suggestions would be appreciated...

    thanks

Be worth checking that you haven't accidentally moved the iris slider and closed the iris down a bit. That would make the picture look “duller”.

after no more then 180 hours.........

always placed on standby to allow to cool etc.......

    £256.00 to replace........

sounds like someone is on to a winner........

they say it should last typically 3000 hours.......

    WHATEVER......

I am going to send it off and see what the service center says......
