    Hi,

Will I get any speed benefit (ie dubbing, finalizing, formatting etc etc etc) using 4x -RW over 2x -RW?

About to order some more Verbatim -RW's and wondered whether it's worth paying a premium for 4x.

    Many thanks,

    Matthew

Assuming the drive is 4x then yes you will double the xfer rate over a 2x disk - ie halve the time for a HD to DVD dub. For a real time copy, the speed of the disk is irelevant as it obviously only copies at 1x.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I'll stick with 1x and 2x then.

    Thanks again,

    Matthew
